Doha:

The Qatar Olympic Academy concluded the lectures of the third semester of the Advanced Diploma Program in Sports and Olympic Institutions Management "Thirteenth Edition of 2023", which was held for three days, in the presence of all the program's students, from inside and outside the country from various sports and administrative disciplines.

This semester's lectures were delivered by Dr. Christos Anganostopoulos, a member of the Education City Network and Assistant Professor of Sports Management at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, and Associate Professor of Sports Management at the University of Molde in Norway, who has a vast experience in this discipline, in addition to the studies, research, and books he has written and published in this discipline.

Dr. Christos began lectures of the  first day about the organization of administrative work in human resources management, and explained the different types of administrative organizational structures, explaining the pros and cons of each type, in addition to the importance of having an administrative organizational structure for any sports institution, whether it is small in activity and functional specialization or a large institution with specialized activity.

On the second day, the lecturer touched on the importance of human resources for any private or public institution, as the human element is the optimal investment for the long-term sustainability of the institution's services, and ways to develop human resources through training, and develop their strategies through ideal planning, and optimal mechanisms in recruiting and motivating human resources.

Dr. Anganostopoulos concluded the  second day's lectures discussing about ways to develop human resources skills through training, and the best ways to develop human resources.

On the third and last day of this semester, the students presented their presentations for the last semester, which was entitled "Strategic Planning", where Dr. Ali Al-Bakri, Director of the Program, evaluated the presentations of each student and the percentage of ideas learned in that semester.

Twenty-five research projects at the conclusion of the Sports Management Diploma

Doha: The Qatari Olympic Academy concluded last Thursday the activities of the seventh and final semester of the Olympic Sports Institutions Management Diploma program, in which the students presented their graduation projects and research for this program, which the academy is holding in its fourteenth edition with significant and widespread participation from within and outside the State of Qatar.
