Doha:

The Qatar Olympic Academy received a group of speakers at the Fourth Conference of the International Association of Sports Management "WASM" to learn about what the Academy offers to spread the culture of sports, Olympic and various sports sciences through various programs, courses and workshops.

The visiting delegation included Dr.Ethan Strigas, Professor of Sport Management, Department of Sport Management, University of Peloponesse in Greece, Dr. Robert Kasper, Assistant Professor of Sports Management at Si Bork University in Austria, Dr. Raed Shomali, Professor of Marketing Sciences at Arab American University in Palestine, and Dr. Othman Al-Thawadi, Assistant Professor of Marketing at the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University, where they were received by Mr. Khalil Ibrahim Al-Jaber, Executive Director and team at the Academy.

The delegation learned about the role of the Qatar Olympic Academy in spreading sports and Olympic culture among the Qatari society in particular and neighboring societies in general, and the delegation was briefed on the Academy's agenda and its various programs in all fields of various sports sciences.

The delegation also toured the halls of the Academy with its various facilities, and the various services in the building that provide and create the ideal environment for students to obtain mathematical sciences in the best atmosphere.

At the end of the tour of the building, the delegation was briefed on the library of the Qatar Olympic Academy, which includes more than four thousand five hundred books, references and sources ranging from sports books and sports supporting sciences, in addition to the library of audiovisual materials.

The delegation concluded their visit by holding a session of talks with the Director and team of the Academy on ways of joint cooperation, through the establishment of a number of special programs in the field of sports management, and the establishment of programs, courses and activities in various sports sciences.

Before leaving the delegation, they recorded their admiration and fascination with what they saw of the great work of the Academy in spreading sports science and Olympic culture among societies, and the diversity of agenda and programs, as well as the services and facilities owned by the Academy, especially the library and its books, references and sources.

The 15th edition of the Sports Management Diploma Program has been launched.

**Doha:** The Qatar Olympic Academy has launched the 15th edition of the Advanced Diploma in Sports and Olympic Organizations Management, in partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Olympic Academy. The event was attended by approximately 55 male and female participants from various sports, administrative, and academic backgrounds, both from within Qatar and abroad. Among the attendees were prominent Qatari and Gulf athletes, including national football star and Al-Wakrah player Abdelkarim Hassan, handball star Youssef Ben Ali from Al-Rayyan, and national skydiving team player Samad Abdullah. Additionally, former football stars such as Iraq’s Nashat Akram, Kuwait’s Khaled Al-Fadhli, Fahad Al-Ansari, Ahmed Ma’dath, and Hamad Al-Anzi, as well as Oman’s Badr Al-Maimani, joined the program. The program also attracted several administrative leaders, including Saud Al-Mejmed, Director of National Teams in Kuwait, Hadi Al-Yami, President of Najran Club, Hamad Al-Dosari, Executive Director of Saudi Stars Club, and Abdullah Al-Fifi, Operations and Facilities Manager at Saudi’s NEOM Club, among other sports and administrative figures from across the Gulf and the Arab world.

Conclusion of the "Sports Injuries" Course with Diverse Participation from Learners

Doha: As part of the series of diverse training courses organized by the Qatar Olympic Academy through its academic agenda for the current year, the academy successfully concluded the "Sports Injuries" course, which was held over five days from February 16th to 20th.

Conclusion of the sports training course for autism spectrum disorder

In a pioneering initiative in the Gulf region and the Arab world, the Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) successfully concluded a specialized training course titled "Effective Strategies for Sports Training for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)." The course took place from February 2 to February 6, 2025, in response to the growing demand for specialized programs aimed at enhancing the understanding of ASD and developing tailored sports training methods for individuals with this condition.
