Doha:
Mr. Khalil Al-Jabir, Executive Director of the Qatar Olympic Academy, received a delegation from Doha University of Science and Technology, headed by Dr. Salem bin Nasser Al-Nuaimi, President of the University, today at the Qatar Olympic Academy headquarters.
The delegation included:
- Dr. Salem bin Nasser Al-Nuaimi - President of the University
- Mr. Hamad Al-Kuwari - Director of the Continuing and Professional Education Department
- Mr. Tony Martin - Director of Sports and Health
- Dr. Fareed Saleh - Acting Dean of the College of Health Sciences
- Ms. Marwa Al-Nahas - Lecturer at the College of Business Administration
At the start of the visit, Mr. Khalil Al-Jabir welcomed the visiting university delegation and provided them with an overview of the Academy, its establishment, goals, and the programs and courses it offers to advance sports and educational movements in Qatar and the region.
In turn, Dr. Salem Al-Nuaimi provided a detailed presentation about the University and the academic programs it offers to students.
During the meeting, the two parties exchanged ideas on mutual cooperation to achieve their shared goals through the implementation of joint programs in various fields that benefit the community.
Mr. Khalil Al-Jabir then accompanied the delegation on a tour of the Academy building, introducing them to the classrooms, facilities, and available services. The visiting delegation also explored the Academy’s library, which houses books, references, resources, and capabilities that support students and specialists.
At the end of the visit, Mr. Khalil Al-Jabir presented Dr. Salem Al-Nuaimi with a commemorative shield from the Academy, thanking him for the visit and wishing it to achieve its objectives.

The course was presented by Dr. Robert Kasper, Assistant Professor in Sports Management at Schloss Seeburg University in Austria, amid diverse participation from those interested in sports affairs in the State of Qatar and the region as a whole.
