His Excellency Sheikh Joan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Olympic Academy honored graduates of the Academy's postgraduate programs (Master's Program in Sports Law and Advanced  Sports Management Course for Olympic Sport Organization) this morning at the Headquarters of the Qatar Olympic Committee.

 

The ceremony held was for the graduation of three batches for 2019-2020-2021 from the Master's program in sports law, graduates and advanced diplomas to manage sports and Olympic institutions for the 11th batch of 2021.

 

The Master's program in sports law, which is unique in the region in cooperation with the University of LLeida of Spain and with the accreditation of the International Olympic Committee, the Asian Olympic Council, the International Olympic Academy, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and the Qatar Olympic Committee, in addition to the accreditation of the certificate by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar

 

The Qatar Olympic Academy provides this program to anyone who wishes to study sports law, from certified bachelor's degree holders working in the field of sports as well as those wishing to qualify for sports, where the study continues in the program for one academic year, four days in each of the ten scheduled classes

 

Concerning the Advanced Sports Management Course for Olympic Sport Organization, the program is one of the pillars of the annual academy agenda, which first began in 2008 when the Qatar Olympic Committee launched the Qatar Olympic Academy to be among the first twenty Olympic committees in the world and the first Gulf and Arab Olympic Committee to implement this program. The members of the diploma program receive studies that serve them in the sports field and administrative life such as the structuring of Olympic sports institutions, strategic planning of sports institutions and management, mega-events in sports institutions and other studies during six classes of the program.

Twenty-five research projects at the conclusion of the Sports Management Diploma

Doha: The Qatari Olympic Academy concluded last Thursday the activities of the seventh and final semester of the Olympic Sports Institutions Management Diploma program, in which the students presented their graduation projects and research for this program, which the academy is holding in its fourteenth edition with significant and widespread participation from within and outside the State of Qatar.
