استضافت الأكاديمية الأولمبية القطرية الفريق البحثي (SIR) من جامعة قطر، الذي يقوم حاليًا بإجراء بحث حول تنظيم الأحداث الرياضية الكبرى في قطر وتأثيرها على خلق القيمة العامة وبناء القدرات في قطاعي التعليم العالي والرياضة. علمًا بأن هذا البحث تم تمويله من قبل مجلس قطر للبحوث والتطوير والابتكار (QRDIC) لمدة ثلاث سنوات.
قامت هذه الدارسة الشاملة حول استضافة بطولة العالم للألعاب المائية 2024 بقياس آراء الجمهور حول الحدث عبر أبعاد مختلفة مثل مستوى الالتزام، والوعي والمعرفة بالرياضة، والخدمات المقدمة وتجربة الحدث بشكل عام. كما تم قياس مستوى الرضا بين الرياضيين والرياضيين المحترفين بالإضافة إلى التفاعلات الاجتماعية وعملية بناء القدرات في الاتحادات الرياضية والجهات المنظمة للحدث مثل المكتب العالمي للألعاب المائية.
قال السيد خليل الجابر (مدير التنظيم لبطولة العالم للألعاب المائية والمدير التنفيذي للأكاديمية الأولمبية القطرية): "من دواعي سرورنا التعرف على آراء وأفكار أصحاب المصلحة المشاركين في الحدث بدءًا من المتفرجين وحتى الرياضيين والجهات المنظمة".
وأكدت الدكتورة داليا فراج، رئيس الفريق البحثي وأستاذ التسويق بجامعة قطر على النهج المبتكر للدراسة قائلة: "لقد وفرت لنا دراسة بطولة العالم للألعاب المائية رؤى قيمة حول التأثير المتعدد الأوجه لاستضافة الأحداث الرياضية الكبرى، وتبرز نتائج الدراسة الدور الأساسي لهذه الأحداث في تعزيز الفخر الوطني والهوية والسمعة الدولية لدولة قطر".
مستقبلاً، سوف يهدف البحث إلى التعمق في هذه المجالات واستكشاف أبعاد إضافية مثل الآثار البيئية لاستضافة مثل هذه الأحداث، والفوائد الاقتصادية طويلة المدى للاقتصاد المحلي، والطرق التي يمكن بها لهذه الأحداث أن تعزز التماسك المجتمعي والقيم الوطنية. هدف الفريق البحثي هو تطوير فهم شامل للتأثيرات الغير ملموسة المتتابعة التي تُحدثها مثل هذه الأحداث واسعة النطاق على الدولة المضيفة، مما سوف يساعد على تشكيل أحداث مستقبلية ليست ناجحة فحسب، بل أيضًا مستدامة ومفيدة في جوانب متعددة.

Qatar Olympic Academy Concludes Lectures on Strategic Planning in Sports Organizations
Doha: The Qatar Olympic Academy has concluded the lectures of the second semester of the Advanced Diploma Program in Sports and Olympic Management titled Strategic Planning in Sports Organizations which took place from the eighth to the tenth of April
The 15th edition of the Sports Management Diploma Program has been launched.
**Doha:** The Qatar Olympic Academy has launched the 15th edition of the Advanced Diploma in Sports and Olympic Organizations Management, in partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Olympic Academy. The event was attended by approximately 55 male and female participants from various sports, administrative, and academic backgrounds, both from within Qatar and abroad. Among the attendees were prominent Qatari and Gulf athletes, including national football star and Al-Wakrah player Abdelkarim Hassan, handball star Youssef Ben Ali from Al-Rayyan, and national skydiving team player Samad Abdullah. Additionally, former football stars such as Iraq’s Nashat Akram, Kuwait’s Khaled Al-Fadhli, Fahad Al-Ansari, Ahmed Ma’dath, and Hamad Al-Anzi, as well as Oman’s Badr Al-Maimani, joined the program. The program also attracted several administrative leaders, including Saud Al-Mejmed, Director of National Teams in Kuwait, Hadi Al-Yami, President of Najran Club, Hamad Al-Dosari, Executive Director of Saudi Stars Club, and Abdullah Al-Fifi, Operations and Facilities Manager at Saudi’s NEOM Club, among other sports and administrative figures from across the Gulf and the Arab world.
Conclusion of the "Sports Injuries" Course with Diverse Participation from Learners
Doha: As part of the series of diverse training courses organized by the Qatar Olympic Academy through its academic agenda for the current year, the academy successfully concluded the "Sports Injuries" course, which was held over five days from February 16th to 20th.
