DOHA - The Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) ,  in cooperation with  the IOC Olympic Solidarity Commission concluded on Thursday a  pioneering five – day training course “ Modern Management of Sport Organizations” being organized at  the QOA Headquarters in Doha.

This course was the first one that attended personally by more than 45 trainees, after   a one year and seven months stop period due to COVID-19 pandemic . During that period all courses were  held  online as announced by the QOA in March last year.

The course key speaker, Dr. Sulaiman bin Ali Al Baloushi, Executive Director of Oman Olympic Committee and former Omani Basketball Federation delivered a series of presentations about the values of  management skills, effective communication, work  environment management and  team work to achieve  the objectives of  the sport organizations and to meet  their highest standards of performance .

This  course  was mainly aims to increase  the learning and field experience  of  the QOC’s  administrative employees and others  and helping them to  turn more professional in dealing with the organizational and administrative issues during the host of championships .

Doha: The Qatar Olympic Academy concluded today, Thursday, a course on integrating people with special needs into physical education classes. The academy is keen to organize this course as part of a series of diverse courses offered in its annual agenda, which is of great interest to a large segment of the sports community due to its importance in the sports, educational, medical, and practical sectors alike. Additionally, there has been significant demand for it from sports coaches, statisticians, and physical education teachers.

Doha: As part of the diverse courses offered by the Qatar Olympic Academy in its annual agenda, which greatly interest the sports community, the academy announced the organization of a course on integrating people with special needs into physical education classes from November 10 to 14.

Twenty-five research projects at the conclusion of the Sports Management Diploma

Doha: The Qatari Olympic Academy concluded last Thursday the activities of the seventh and final semester of the Olympic Sports Institutions Management Diploma program, in which the students presented their graduation projects and research for this program, which the academy is holding in its fourteenth edition with significant and widespread participation from within and outside the State of Qatar.
